Jesus cared for the quartet of the vulnerable; the orphans, widows, Immigrants, and poor as a regular and core part of His earthly ministry. Since we, the Church, are the hands and feet of Christ In the world today, we too want to care for the same. One of the ways we do this Is by partnering with Be More Caring (BMC). BMC focuses on homelessness In Anne Arundel County and Baltimore City. The do this by building relationships, serving meals, and providing support.
We have made space In our parking lot as a clothing drop off location. The donated Items are used to allow BMC to continue Its mission.
Why? The homeless population consists of off members of the quartet of the vulnerable. While we can't fix all the problems that cause homelessness nor can we address all the reasons why homelessness persists, we can provide some comfort and aid along the way.
How can you help? If you have clothing or small household Items you'd like to donate, please bring them and drop them off at the little BMC shack on our parking lot. You can also volunteer to help BMC In their mission.
