In this class students will learn to identify and categorize a variety of plants and fungi that typically grow in our geographical region. We will study plant biology, cell structure, photosynthesis, and environmental factors necessary for plants to thrive. We’ll also explore the role that pollinators play in the plant world. Students will learn to use a microscope and to prepare slides in order to observe plant cells under magnification.

Materials fee- $35
Parents should also plan to purchase at least one reference book based on your students age and interests  from the list that will be provided.
